Before co-founding Working Knowledge with Andrew, I set-up several companies based around my invention popVase, an innovative paper vase that really does hold water! I starting selling the product on markets stalls and went on to sell more than half a million vases in 4 years into niche markets worldwide, building the popVase brand, before licensing it for sale to the mass-market in 2005.
Formerly, I worked for 10 years in the Environmental Sector, 3 of which where spent with the UK Department for International Development based in Kenya. I have a PhD in Environmental Physiology from Nottingham University.
