Pilot Event programme launched
A number of colleges have asked us how they can experience Ride The Wave in action with their students without organising a full event. The key issues seem to be about raising the confidence of tutors and management that the event will work and also being able to assess how students react in an unusual environment. So, the good news is that we have launched our Pilot Event programme.
We have put together a pilot event that illustrates some of the key elements of Ride the Wave. It encompasses a 4-5 hour programme of activity for 60 Level 1, 2 or 3 students, run in college and including all of the activities that make the student experience so engaging and worthwhile. The cost is just £1750 plus VAT.
To keep the cost of the pilot low, this event is not designed for the collection of Key Skills portfolios or employer engagement, but this doesn’t detract from the opportunity to observe and assess the student learning experience delivered on your behalf by Working Knowledge and how it could fit into your plans for next year.
Early bookings have already been taken; the pilot events are being used to evaluate how to integrate Ride the Wave more fully into the curriculum from September 2009.
