Castle College hosting Ride the Wave Pilot on 29th April
The first East Midlands college to take advantage of the Ride the Wave Pilot programme is Castle College Nottingham. They have booked a taster day for Diploma students - 60 will take part with level 2 learners joining level 3 diploma learners for the event.
The taster is being held on 29th April at the Highfields Automotive & Engineering Centre located on University Boulevard, Nottingham. The Centre provides state of the art training for Automotive Technology and Engineering & Manufacture courses. Created in conjunction with Toyota, the Centre has ten fully fitted workshops, a car showroom and a state of the art learning resource centre.
Castle College are using the taster to help decide how Ride the Wave will feature in their plans for 2009 / 10. A number of options are being considered including using the programme to deliver the NCFE Award and Certificate for Developing Enterprise Capabilities.
